Imaizumi Brings All the Gyarus to His House
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Keita Imaizumi is a regular high school guy living alone — and somehow, three gyaru classmates have decided his apartment is their new favorite hangout spot. That's it. That's the setup — and it works better than it has any right to. The three girls, Reina, Ruri, and Yukina, just keep showing up, raiding his snacks, taking over his couch, and generally treating his place like their personal living room. What starts as an awkward, borderline chaotic arrangement gradually turns into something warmer and more comfortable than anyone expected. As an OVA from 2021 adapted from a manga, the series leans into the character dynamics rather than relying purely on the fanservice premise. The gyaru characters here actually have personality beyond the aesthetic — they're funny, they're comfortable in their own skin, and watching them interact with a guy who genuinely has no idea how he ended up in this situation gives the whole thing a relaxed, lived-in feel. If you liked the messy group-friendship energy of Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, or the comedic awkwardness of Yamada's First Time: B Gata H Kei, there's a familiar rhythm here. It knows what it is, keeps the tone light, and lets the character interactions do most of the heavy lifting. Not deep, not trying to be — just a breezy, easygoing watch.
