Hyouka Arc Review

Perhaps the most impressive part of this series is its craftsmanship. Man, I cannot emphasize enough how good it is. That said, while the visuals are amazing, the story isn't bad either. In fact, I love how it mixes tension, mystery, and comfiness in one series. I'm a sucker for SoLs, so my takes may be a bit biased, but I still can't stress enough how good the story is.

If I were to nitpick something, maybe it would be the pacing. I can't even say it's bad—I just think some episodes feel a bit slow at times.

Craftsmanship-wise, I've already mentioned how great it is. I'm quite confident that even when put against modern titles, it won't lose out at all. This is KyoAni magic, man! If I were to mention one thing that stood out the most, it's definitely Chitanda's eyes. I can't count how many times I've been mesmerized by those amethyst-colored eyes—simply beautiful!

Overall, I'd rate this series a 9/10.
