📖 SYNOPSIS
"Humanoid Monster Bem" follows Bem, Bera, and Barro, three youkai who arrive in a large coastal city. They are immediately confronted by an atmosphere of evil, stemming from both human immorality and the actions of other monsters and youkai. Deciding to stay, they dedicate themselves to protecting the human populace from these threats. Despite their efforts, the trio is often mistreated and abused by the humans they defend, due to their monstrous appearances. They forge a few friendships along the way. Their ultimate goal is to become human beings, a reward they hope to earn through their acts of good and their unwavering protection of the city's inhabitants. The series explores themes of prejudice, morality, and the struggle for acceptance.
