EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming off Episode 8, 'Cold Rain' — which put the team's internal tensions and struggles front and center — this episode marks a deliberate turn toward healing and cohesion. At the one-third mark of a 26-episode season, Mizuho High is still being built from the inside out. Episode 9 functions as the connective tissue between conflict and renewed drive, directly setting the stage for Episode 10, 'The Suppressed Passion,' where that rebuilt unity will face its next real test.
