馃摉 SYNOPSIS
"Haitai Nanafa" follows Nanafa Kyan, a young girl residing in Okinawa with her grandmother, who runs a soba shop, her high school-aged sister Nao, and her elementary school-aged sister Kokona, who possesses a sensitivity to the supernatural. Their ordinary life takes a turn when Nanafa inadvertently removes a seal from a Chinese banyan tree, unleashing three spirits. These include Niina and Raana, who are jimunaa spirits, and Iina, an incarnation of an Okinawan lion statue. As these spirits begin to interact with Nanafa and her family, the once-familiar rhythm of their lives at the Kame Soba shop is disrupted, introducing elements of the supernatural into their daily experiences and relationships. The anime explores themes of family, Okinawan culture, and the integration of the mystical into the mundane.
