Getter Robo Arc is the fifth Getter Robo series chronologically. Taking place several years after Getter Robo Go, Earth is now a post-apocalyptic world. Hayato, now an aging scientist, has completed Professor Saotome's masterpiece, Getter Robo Arc. Piloting it are Ryoma's son Takuma, the human-dinosaur Kamui, and the younger brother of Tayel, Baku. Verified RatingI think Getter Robo Arc ended on one of its more weaker episodes for this half, but I still really enjoyed it. I won't lie and say that the cliffhangers at the end took some bite out of the episode, but all the stuff in it was incredible. Cool episode.
Verified RatingThe episode is completely amazing...While Takuma and Baku are lost in the void, Kamui returns to Earth but not as the same person. After witnessing how humanity will evolve in the future under the thrall of the Getter Emperor, he makes a choice.He returns to the Dinosaur Empire and usurps the throne from his half-brother Gore III, declaring himself the new Emperor. I love this episode.
Verified RatingThis episode is action-packed. the infiltration, the legendary beast, the new finisher Everything is firing on all cylinders. Uzala is a genuinely intimidating presence, and Arc Shine Bomber is a spectacle worth waiting for. Nice episode.
