馃摉 SYNOPSIS
The story begins with Chuta, a mouse fleeing the oppressive rule of Norio, an evil ermine on Devil's Island. He encounters Gamba and Bobo, who are visiting Tokyo Harbor. Chuta recounts the terror on Devil's Island, prompting Gamba and his friends to consider action. Meanwhile, Shijin is worried about his girlfriend Nagisa, prompting Gamba, Bobo, Gakusha, Ikasama, Shijin, and Yoisho to travel to the South Island in search of her. There, they discover a family of Japanese otters, endangered by a wild dog named Black. The anime explores themes of courage, friendship, and standing up against tyranny, as the mice face perilous journeys and dangerous adversaries.
