📖 SYNOPSIS
Kimball Kinnison, on the cusp of a wider education, finds his life irrevocably altered when a Galactic Patrol ship crashes near his home. The dying pilot bequeaths him a mysterious Lens, which becomes implanted in his hand. This half-sentient Lens triggers significant changes, including his father's death and a harrowing space battle. He soon encounters Chris, a nursing officer within the Galactic Patrol. Driven by the Lens's influence, Kim discovers a universe of new experiences opening before him. He is compelled to act, putting his life on the line to safeguard both Chris and the very fabric of the universe from an unknown threat. The Lens serves as a catalyst, propelling him into a destiny he never anticipated.
