Synopsis
By every measure, Keita Itō is completely average — no standout talents, no special skills, nothing that screams 'elite academy material.' So when he gets a personal invitation to Bell Liberty Academy, one of the most prestigious all-boys schools around, his first reaction is basically: why me? That question drives the whole show. Keita shows up, gets warmly welcomed by a school full of incredibly capable, good-looking guys, and spends his time trying to figure out what he's actually doing there. There's Kazuki, the charismatic classmate who takes him under his wing immediately; Niwa, the energetic student council president; Naruse, the flirtatious tennis captain — the cast fills out fast, and each of them has a distinct personality that keeps things from blurring together. The tone is mostly light and comedic, but there's a genuine thread of self-discovery underneath it all. Keita's struggle to find his own worth among exceptional people is surprisingly relatable, even in this heightened setting. If you've watched Junjou Romantica or Sekaiichi Hatsukoi and want something with a similar boys love atmosphere but a more school-focused, low-stakes setup, this fits that space well. It also shares some DNA with Loveless in terms of that intimate, character-driven pacing. At 13 episodes, it doesn't overstay its welcome. It's a comfortable, emotionally warm watch — the kind of show you put on when you want something that's easy to follow but still has a little heart to it.
