Fujun Isei Kouyuu: Taisetsu na Kimi e
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Left alone in the old family house, two siblings find themselves leaning on each other in ways that go far beyond the usual. Jun and his sister share something heavy — a past marked by abuse and the kind of grief that doesn't really leave, just gets quieter. Every night, same time, they seek comfort in each other while also navigating a rough situation at school with a controlling girl who makes their lives harder. This is a single-episode OVA from 2002, so it's compact and doesn't waste time. The tone is somber throughout — think quiet rooms, muted colors, and dialogue that carries more weight than it lets on. It's not flashy or dramatic in the conventional sense. It sits with its characters in their discomfort and doesn't try to resolve everything neatly. If you've seen Koi Kaze and appreciated how it handles taboo relationships with restraint rather than sensationalism, this operates in a similar emotional register. Fans of Yosuga no Sora who wanted something slower and more introspective might find this closer to what they were looking for. It's also drawn comparisons to Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru for obvious thematic reasons, though the mood here is considerably darker. Don't go in expecting a feel-good story. This is firmly adult content that leans into trauma and emotional dependency — it's for viewers who want something affecting rather than entertaining.
