📖 SYNOPSIS
One moment he's a quiet Japanese bureaucrat, and the next he gets hit by a truck and wakes up as a teenage villainess in an otome game. That's the premise, and it's exactly as funny as it sounds. Kenzaburou Tondabayashi, a mild-mannered civil servant, finds himself reincarnated as Grace Auvergne — the haughty duke's daughter destined to be the antagonist in his own daughter's favorite game, Magical Academy: Love & Beast. The problem is, Kenzaburou is fundamentally a nice, by-the-book middle-aged dad. He can't do villainy. Every attempt at being intimidating or cruel comes off as elegant and charming thanks to a passive ability that makes everything Grace does look graceful, no matter how awkward he feels on the inside. So instead of terrorizing the heroine, he accidentally wins over half the academy with his earnest, fatherly energy wrapped in a pretty noble girl package. This 12-episode TV series from Ajia-do leans hard into the comedy of a grown man navigating school drama, magical classes, and romantic subplot landmines he wants no part of. If you liked the chaotic energy of My Next Life as a Villainess or the genre-aware humor of I'm in Love with the Villainess, this one hits a similar sweet spot but with a genuinely different angle — the protagonist isn't a young woman who played the game, it's someone's dad. That contrast between grizzled salaryman brain and sparkling villainess exterior carries the whole thing.
