📖 SYNOPSIS

In a future where humanity has expanded its reach to the stars, Uta resides and works in a hotel on Uranus. Feeling perpetually out of sync with those around her, she often retreats into solitary activities: crafting digital art on her computer or visiting local cafés alone. Her routine existence takes an unexpected turn when she receives a mysterious "Future Ticket," a catalyst promising new beginnings. Despite this intriguing invitation, Uta hesitates, clinging to the familiarity of her daily life. As the "Star Festival" approaches—a celestial event celebrating the close orbit of Uranus and Neptune—the hotel buzzes with anticipation. Among the guests is Paula, a renowned influencer from Neptune whom Uta has long admired from afar. An unforeseen encounter leads to a budding friendship between the two, with Paula's vibrant and adventurous spirit contrasting sharply with Uta's reserved nature. Through their interactions, Uta begins to question her self-imposed isolation and the fears that have held her back. Paula's encouragement and the festive atmosphere of the Star Festival inspire Uta to confront her insecurities. She contemplates the possibilities that the Future Ticket offers, weighing the comfort of her current life against the potential for growth and new experiences. In this delicate narrative, "Ephemere" explores themes of self-discovery, the courage to embrace change, and the profound impact of fleeting encounters. Uta's journey reflects the universal struggle between safety and the unknown, illustrating how even the most transient relationships can leave lasting imprints on our lives.
