El Cazador de la Bruja
Oshimeter
Synopsis
With a gun on her hip and a target on her list, Nadie is a bounty hunter after Ellis — a quiet amnesiac girl wanted for the murder of a scientist. But instead of hauling Ellis in, Nadie makes a weird call — she decides to travel with her instead, heading south toward a place called Wiñay Marka that might hold the answers to Ellis's forgotten past. The catch? Once they find what Ellis is looking for, the bounty is still getting collected. Probably. El Cazador de la Bruja is a 26-episode TV series from Bee Train, set across a sun-baked, vividly realized Latin America. The journey has gunfights and conspiracies, but the real weight comes from watching two very different women figure out what they mean to each other. Ellis is strange and soft-spoken, hinting at something supernatural underneath the surface. Nadie is loud, stubborn, and warmer than she wants to admit. Their dynamic carries the whole show. Yuki Kajiura handles the soundtrack, which means the atmosphere is doing a lot of heavy lifting — and it works. The tone sits somewhere between melancholy road trip and slow-burn mystery. If you've seen Noir or Madlax, this is the third piece of Bee Train's unofficial girls-with-guns trilogy, and it's arguably the most emotionally grounded of the three. Think less cold assassin drama, more two people wandering toward something they don't fully understand yet.
