📖 SYNOPSIS

"Eiyuu Banka Koushi-den" portrays the life of Confucius, born in the Chinese state of Lu. Raised by his mother after his father's early death, he marries and enters the service of the local nobility. The story follows his career trajectory, beginning as a tutor to the Prince of Lu's children and culminating in his roles as justice minister and prime minister. During his time in power, the land experiences prosperity. However, Confucius becomes weary of court politics. He then embarks on a twelve-year journey, traveling to neighboring states and offering counsel to their rulers, presumably sharing his wisdom and insights. The anime explores themes of political intrigue, personal growth, and the pursuit of knowledge.
