Dark Moon: The Blood Altar
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Blessed — or cursed — with superhuman abilities she never asked for, Sooha isn't a vampire — at least, that's what she keeps telling everyone. After being blamed for her childhood friend's death and accused of being one of the undead, she transfers to Decelis Academy, a night school in the coastal town of Riverfield where vampires and werewolves supposedly can't set foot. Sounds like a safe bet, right? Not quite. She quickly catches the attention of Heli, the captain of the school's Nightball Team, who figures out her secret but offers friendship anyway. Through him, she meets a tight-knit group of students — Jaan, Jino, Shion, Jakah, Noa, and Solon — all carrying their own powers and buried histories. Then a murder linked to a vampire rocks the town, and Sooha gets pulled into a centuries-old conflict she wanted no part of. This 12-episode TV series from Studio TROYCA blends supernatural mystery with school life and slow-burn relationship dynamics. If you liked the moody vampire politics of Vampire Knight or the tension of Dance with Devils, this hits a similar nerve but with a fresher ensemble cast. Worth noting — the characters are tied to the members of ENHYPEN, and the soundtrack features original tracks from the group, which gives the whole thing a distinct cross-media energy. It's a youthful, atmospheric fantasy that leans into its mystery without rushing it.
