📖 SYNOPSIS

Dame Oyaji follows the life of Damesuke Amano, a perpetually bullied office worker whose woes continue at home. Contrary to traditional Japanese family structures, Amano holds no power in his own household. His wife, Onibaba, is a domineering and physically abusive woman who delights in making his life miserable. Their teenage daughter, Yukiko, and grade-school son, Takobo, also participate in the psychological and physical abuse of their father. The anime explores the reversal of traditional roles, showcasing a family dynamic where the father is consistently belittled and powerless.
