James McGuire, aspiring to liberate Guinam as its president, faces a significant obstacle: his hidden past. This past threatens not only his political ambitions but also the life of his estranged daughter. To safeguard her, McGuire enlists the services of the City Hunter, Ryo Saeba, and his partner Kaori. Anna, McGuire's daughter, is a Secret Service agent assigned to protect her father. As the City Hunter takes on the task of protecting Anna, the series explores themes of family, redemption, and the consequences of one's past actions, all set against the backdrop of political intrigue and danger. The City Hunter must navigate the complex web of McGuire's past to ensure the safety of both father and daughter.
