📖 SYNOPSIS
By day, three sisters run a cozy café in Tokyo, but when night falls, they pull off elaborate art heists. The Kisugi sisters—Hitomi, Rui, and Ai—aren't stealing for profit, though. Every piece they take once belonged to their father, a famous art collector who vanished years ago, and each heist is really just another attempt to find him. The kicker? Hitomi's fiancé, Toshio, is the detective assigned to catch Cat's Eye. He has no idea the woman he's planning to marry is the thief he's chasing, and the show milks that dramatic irony for everything it's worth.
This 2025 ONA from LIDENFILMS adapts a classic manga, and the vibe lands somewhere between romantic comedy and slick heist thriller. The sisters are sharp, resourceful, and genuinely fun to watch as they plan increasingly creative ways to outsmart the police. There's real tension in the heists, but the tone stays light enough that you're grinning through most of it.
If you're into Lupin III's gentleman-thief energy but want the spotlight on a team of women running circles around everyone, this scratches that itch. Fans of City Hunter or Magic Kaito will recognize the blend of action, humor, and that specific brand of 80s-rooted cool updated for modern audiences. At 12 episodes, it doesn't overstay its welcome either—tight pacing, clean arcs, easy to get through in a weekend.
