Shizuku Ishiai, a second-year middle school student, harbors a deep passion for dancing but struggles with self-expression. To share her love of dance, she crossdresses and uploads videos under the alias "Ai" on "Smile Douga," a popular website. As "Ai," she declares Hayate, the "dancing prince," her rival. However, fate takes an unexpected turn. After a series of events and attempts to outdo Hayate, Shizuku finds herself unexpectedly integrated into an idol unit with him. The twist? It's a *male* idol unit, forcing Shizuku to navigate a new world while maintaining her secret and her rivalry. The story explores themes of self-expression, competition, and the challenges of navigating identity.
