Boy Meets Harem The Animation
Oshimeter
Synopsis
When their plane is struck by lightning, Naoki Shindou and his classmates see a school trip turn into a survival situation, leaving him stranded on an uninhabited island with a small group of survivors: two classmates, their teacher, and a flight attendant. No rescue in sight, no civilization around, just five people figuring out how to coexist under pressure. The survival framing is what makes this one a little different from the usual setup. Instead of dropping characters into a school dorm or a fantasy world, Office TakeOut puts them somewhere genuinely isolated, and that context actually gives the harem dynamics a bit more weight than you'd typically expect from a one-episode OVA. The character designs are detailed and the production holds up reasonably well for 2014. It's a short watch — one episode, based on a manga — so there's no drawn-out buildup. If you've seen Jutaijima and liked the survival-island angle, this scratches a similar itch with a slightly different cast dynamic. Fans of Tayu Tayu or Harem Time The Animation looking for something in that same vein will feel at home here. It's not reinventing anything, and it doesn't try to. What it offers is a contained, visually decent hentai OVA with a setup that at least gives the characters a reason to be together beyond convenience. Worth the runtime if the premise sounds appealing to you.
