EPISODE CONTEXT
Coming directly after 'Snowscape,' which confronted the group with some of the series' harshest realities, 'Tale' narrows the lens to Ushiro alone as Bokurano approaches its end. As episode 24 of 24, this is the final breath before the conclusion — a deliberate emotional clearing that foregrounds Ushiro's inner world and his relationships, positioning everything for the series finale to land with full weight.
