Boku wa Imouto ni Koi wo Suru
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Sharing a room their whole lives, Yori and Iku have lately become strangers to each other — and it's entirely Yori's doing. He's pulling away from his sister, cold and distant in a way she can't explain, and the tension between them is quietly suffocating. The reason? Yori is in love with her, and has been for a while. That's the setup, and the show doesn't flinch from it. This is a single-episode OVA adapted from Kotomi Aoki's manga, aimed at a shoujo audience, which means the focus is almost entirely on internal emotional conflict rather than shock value. Yori's situation is genuinely painful to watch — he's trying to transfer to a boarding school across the country just to get away from his own feelings, and even that isn't working. Iku, meanwhile, just wants her brother back and has no idea why he's disappeared emotionally. If you've seen Koi Kaze or Yosuga no Sora, you already know this territory — taboo romance treated with more seriousness than you'd expect. This one leans closer to Koi Kaze in tone: quiet, uncomfortable, and more interested in the psychological weight than in being provocative. It's not easy viewing, but it's not trying to be. One episode, no resolution, just the raw knot of a situation with no clean way out.
