馃摉 SYNOPSIS
Misaki Suzuhara, a twelve-year-old, arrives in Tokyo and is immediately captivated by Angelic Layer, a cutting-edge game. In Angelic Layer, players, known as "Deus," control dolls called "Angels" through their thoughts. Encouraged by her new friends, Misaki builds her own Angel, Hikaru, and begins to compete. The battles test will and determination, not just size and strength. The competition is intense, and Misaki must navigate the challenges of the game while adjusting to life in a new city. With the national championships approaching, she'll face formidable opponents, and not everyone she meets will be supportive. Misaki must learn to handle the pressure of constant competition and the unfamiliarity of her new surroundings.
