📖 SYNOPSIS

The anime unfolds in an imperial court striving to modernize by integrating foreigners, assigning them roles based on their skills. Zuo Yun Qi, a dissident, infiltrates the court disguised as a foreigner to rescue his father. His deception is quickly uncovered by the landlord, an expert in identifying foreigners. Their initial conflict evolves into a series of comedic and physical confrontations, ultimately leading to an uneasy alliance. Together, they successfully expose and prevent a conspiracy within the court. However, their victory is short-lived as they discover another foreigner secretly orchestrating a movement to overthrow the existing power structure and establish a radical, free society. Zuo Yun Qi and his allies are then compelled to take action against this new, dangerous threat.
