Synopsis
For Atsuko and Sayaka, acceptance into the same prestigious all-girls academy seems like the perfect setup — a fresh start, academic prestige, and each other. Atsuko and Sayaka are close in a way the school's strict environment probably wasn't designed to accommodate, but that's the least of their problems. Somewhere in the academy's history, something old and deeply unpleasant was locked away. It feeds on desire, it's been sealed for a very long time, and — naturally — they're the ones who accidentally break that seal. What starts as a school romance quickly slides into supernatural horror, and the tone shifts fast. The ancient mythology angle gives it a layer beyond standard shock value, threading older folklore about lust-hungry entities into a modern school setting in ways that feel genuinely unsettling rather than just gratuitous. If you've seen Urotsukidōji: Legend of the Overfiend or Demon Beast Invasion, you already have a sense of the territory — dark, explicit, and leaning hard into the horror side of its genre. La Blue Girl fans will also find familiar ground here. This is a 4-episode OVA from 1994, so it's short, bleak, and wastes no time getting to the uncomfortable parts. It's not for everyone, but if you're into old-school supernatural horror that doesn't flinch, this one delivers exactly what it promises.
