馃摉 SYNOPSIS
The anime follows Kakeru Daichi, an ordinary high school student whose life is upended when a can of melon juice soda he purchases from a vending machine transforms into a beautiful girl. Kakeru nicknames her "Melon," and quickly learns she is an "Akikan," a being that exists as a can until infused with carbon dioxide to take human form. More "Akikan" girls begin to appear, each with their own unique personalities and needs. The series explores the unusual relationships between Kakeru and the Akikan girls, and the challenges of maintaining their existence through carbonation. The core theme revolves around the strange circumstances of these beings and their dependence on a human's care.
