Ichigo Hoshimiya, an average middle school student, finds her life dramatically altered when her friend Aoi encourages her to join Starlight Academy, an idol training school. Thrust into a world of singing, dancing, and performance, Ichigo must navigate the competitive environment and learn the skills necessary to succeed. Using Aikatsu Cards, which aid in her idol activities, she challenges herself in countless auditions. Along the way, she encounters various rivals and discovers the dedication and hard work required to achieve her dreams of becoming a top idol. The series follows her journey of self-discovery and growth within the vibrant world of idol culture.
