Aggressor Killer
Oshimeter
Synopsis
The Great Zhou Kingdom sits on top of mystical dragon veins — massive sources of spiritual energy that keep the realm stable. When a shadowy foreign organization starts targeting those veins, the kingdom's best hope turns out to be Zuo Xiao, a young mage with serious talent and a very dangerous to-do list: track down four sacred artifacts and master all five elements of magic before everything falls apart. This ONA leans hard into Chinese mythology and builds out a pretty detailed magic system around the five elements, which gives the fights real structure instead of just throwing energy blasts around. Zuo Xiao isn't just powering up for the sake of it — each artifact and each element he acquires feeds into a larger strategic puzzle against enemies who genuinely threaten the kingdom's foundations. The martial arts sequences benefit from fluid animation that actually lets you follow the choreography, and between the big confrontations there's enough breathing room to feel the weight of what Zuo Xiao is carrying. If you liked the spirit-hunting vibe of Rakshasa Street or the patriotic martial arts energy of something like Seven Swordsmen, this hits a similar space but with a heavier fantasy layer. The tone stays mostly action-packed without getting too grim, though the stakes are real enough to keep things from feeling shallow. Worth keeping on your radar for 2026 if Chinese fantasy donghua is your thing.
