Accel World Arc Review

While I find this series enjoyable to watch, what I find regrettable is how inconsistent (plot) and forced some parts of the feel. I also can't help but feel dissatisfied with some of the unrealistic developments throughout the series. That said, the story is great—in fact, it's amazing.

Craftsmanship-wise, the animation is definitely PEAK. Given how old this title is, the animation can still contend with newer titles, which is impressive. However, while the animation is amazing, the art style isn't the best. Honestly speaking, I’m simply not a fan of the fish-eye style. That said, I am convinced that the style caters more to the mecha designs than the characters.

Overall, I'd rate this series an 8/10.
