Okumura, president of his school's manga club, is a dedicated otaku who prefers the fictional 2D character Lilliel to real-life girls. His world is upended when the new school year begins and Lilysa, a passionate cosplayer, joins the club. Lilysa's favorite manga character is none other than Lilliel, and she convinces Okumura to become her photographer. The situation intensifies as Lilysa is also interested in modeling "fetishy stuff," further complicating Okumura's feelings and blurring the lines between his 2D fantasies and the 3D reality before him.
