A white car drives down a winding, dark road, isolated in a dense forest. Inside, a young Woman is driving, with her Man in the passenger seat. Their conversation begins innocently enough, a casual chat that soon turns to the urban legend of Musubime-sama. The Man asks if she knows of it; she confirms a friend, Yukari, has told her about it.

A bright flash transitions to Musubime-sama's shrine, an abandoned, dilapidated structure in the deep woods. The Woman's voice describes the ritual: going alone on a moonless night. She appears apprehensive, a bead of sweat on her temple. As the night deepens, Musubime-sama appears, a figure with hair obscuring its face, a red core glowing within its chest. The ritual demands extreme reverence.

The Woman details the delicate process of combing Musubime-sama's tangled, unruly hair. Her hand meticulously works the comb through the strands, a task requiring immense patience and focus. A moment of horror strikes when she accidentally pulls out hair, leading to a desperate, prostrate plea for forgiveness. The ritual resumes, ending with the hair carefully tied into an elaborate bun.

With the hair tidied, the Woman prepares for the final, crucial step: seeing Musubime-sama's face. Her eye widens in terror, a tear rolling down her cheek, as the entity's face is revealed. Its eyes are sewn shut with crude, thick stitches, a disturbing 'X' marking each socket. The final act, the "eye-opening ritual," requires a pair of scissors, with a grave warning: cause no harm, or never leave alive.

The car re-emerges from the bright haze, returning to the dark road. The Woman concludes her retelling, believing the ritual's purpose is to unite her with her beloved. The Man, casually looking at his phone, then drops a bombshell. He mentions a continuation of the story, a detail Yukari apparently omitted: Musubime-sama must have actual eyeballs to grant a wish. If the eyes are hollow, the wish is nullified. The Woman is instantly distraught, asking if her ritual was for naught.

The Man's face turns directly to the camera, a chilling, knowing smile spreading across his lips as he asks what the Woman is muttering about. Her off-screen gasp of terror is heard. Suddenly, his own eyes widen in sheer horror, tinged green with fear, as he cries out, "I can't see! I can't see!" The Woman's screams echo his words, the realization of her fate hitting them both.

A close-up reveals the Woman's face, her eyes now grotesque, hollow, and black, streaked with dark lines, her mouth open in a silent scream. The car swerves erratically on the dark road, its headlights flickering wildly. The Man's face is contorted in pure terror, yelling in panic. The scene culminates in an extreme close-up of Musubime-sama's black, stitched eye, surrounded by red, a final, horrifying image before fading to black.

The screen remains black, the terrifying cries of "I can't see" echoing in the silence. The title card reappears, and the Storyteller's voice softly pronounces, "Oshimai," bringing the dark tale to a close. Credits roll over an animated scene of children around the storyteller, the clock tower melting, a surreal and melancholic end to the episode.
