Luffy taking out those guards while his hands are still cuffed in seastone is a massive display of power and he does it all with a giant grin on his face

The pacing felt a bit slow during the dance scene with those repeated shots, but Queen is such a flamboyant character that his theatrical energy really carries the episode

Raizo sneaking around for the keys is keeping me invested because I want to see Luffy go all out without those handcuffs holding him back

I did not expect Queen to have a whole funky dance routine with an electric guitar and it makes him so much more interesting than the typical serious villains

The way Luffy keeps smiling while protecting Hyo and fighting those prison guards shows he still has that unbreakable spirit even with the seastone cuffs on

Queen is way more agile than a guy that size has any right to be and his dance routine was probably the most fun introduction for a villain in this entire arc

The animation during the zoom funk dance was so smooth and it really captured the weird energy of a guy who is supposedly one of the strongest pirates

I was losing it when Queen started dancing and singing because he is so funky for a guy with a billion berry bounty

I cannot get over how Queen just burst onto the scene with a full musical number, because you expect these calamities to be strictly terrifying but he is just a giant ball of chaotic energy and it was really cool to see Luffy still being a hero for Hyo, while Raizo is sneaking around for those keys in the background

I cannot get that song out of my head because Queen is a legend and his dance was everything

I honestly love how Queen is such a weird mix of goofy and terrifying, especially when he starts his little dance number out of nowhere. It really highlights how bizarre the Beast Pirates are compared to other crews we have seen before. Seeing Big Mom show up while she is still craving that soup is definitely going to create huge problems for everyone

Everyone is freaking out over Queen but don't forget that Kid already escaped and the guards are clearly losing control of the situation

I felt like the prison scenes were way too relatable with everyone wearing masks and the whole quarantine vibe especially after the show was on break

Queen's goofy dance leading up to that insane bounty reveal totally caught me off guard; how can someone so silly be worth *that* much?! I just remember thinking, "Wow, he's definitely not just some ordinary clown."

Luffy just ignoring his power limits to save a defenseless old man in that hellhole of a prison really proves he is the only one who can lead this rebellion

Luffy knocking that guard out while wearing seastone is so cool because it shows how much stronger his base form is getting without his fruit powers

The animation for the dancing scene was actually super smooth, and it was pretty funny seeing how different Queen is from King or Jack

I am so glad the anime is finally back and that Queen introduction was basically the best way to return because it was so goofy and high energy but the pacing in the middle of the episode felt a little bit sluggish and the long recap was kind of annoying when we just wanted to see the big guy dance

EPISODE CONTEXT

Picking up directly from Episode 929's establishment of Luffy and Hyougoro's alliance inside Udon Prison, this episode raises the stakes significantly by introducing a major antagonist into that confined setting. It deepens the prison subplot that will define Luffy's Wano journey for the coming stretch of episodes. The groundwork laid here—Queen's arrival, Luffy's continued resistance—feeds directly into Episode 931's escalation of escape attempts and power struggles within the Beasts Pirates' hierarchy.
