I am so tired of seeing the same flashbacks of these kids over and over because it slows down the Zoro fight way too much

Monet has such a cool design and those ice picks she made out of her wings looked incredible in that one shot

That look on Monet's face when Tashigi cut her with Haki was the best thing all day and it was such a surprise to see her jump in there, and Zoro was clearly playing with his food this whole time because you can tell he just wants to see what she does before he finishes it, but the kid stuff really dragged on today

You see Monet realize Tashigi can actually use Haki and that panic in her eyes was a great moment

Nami really stepping up to tag Monet with her Clima-Tact was so cool to me, even if those snow powers were incredibly creepy. I was genuinely surprised by her courage, thinking back to how she used to be so scared of everything.

Zoro is just standing there taking hits and I know he could end this in one second if he wanted to

Mocha, oh man, it was so tough watching her desperately try to stop the others from scarfing down that candy, especially since I knew she was the only one who understood what was *really* going on. My stomach just clenched seeing them ignore her, totally hooked on something so dangerous.

I got a kick out of Nami using that heat egg to burn Monet's wings and it was so cool to see her stand her ground like that against a logia user

Monet realizing that Zoro was barely even trying to fight her made the whole scene feel way more tense than a normal battle

Zoro and Tashigi teaming up is always going to be interesting and their dynamic against a logia user like Monet is fun to watch

Sanji losing his head over Monet right in the middle of a blizzard while those marines were also cheering was a funny break from the action

Tashigi jumping in and actually using Haki to cut the snow woman was great and it was about time someone helped Zoro out there

Caesar is honestly the worst kind of villain for what he did to those children, and Mocha eating that candy to save them was hard to watch.

Seeing those kids lose their minds over candy is still pretty dark and Mocha taking the hit for all of them was the most intense part of the episode

Those flashbacks with Caesar and the children dragged everything out. It felt like we were just repeating stuff from the last few weeks

Sanji leading those G-5 guys is hilarious and you just know he would have a hard time fighting Monet himself

It is pretty obvious Zoro refuses to cut a woman even when Monet is trying to kill him and seeing him just stand there was honestly frustrating

The whole mystery with Zoro and why he was only defending really shows his weird moral code, even against enemies, and Tashigi jumping in with her sword was such a great moment. It really made me wonder if she is finally catching up to him after all this time and my brain is just stuck on the Haki debate.

I actually felt so bad for Mocha when she started eating all that candy and she is way too brave for a kid dealing with Caesar being a total creep

It was great seeing Nami melt those snow wings, and her heat egg was a clever way to deal with a logia user without needing haki

EPISODE CONTEXT

Positioned deep within the Punk Hazard arc, this episode escalates the danger after the crew's encounter with the young dragon Momonosuke in Episode 611, shifting focus squarely onto the threat Monet poses within Caesar's facility. It serves as a crucial buildup episode, establishing the combat stakes and Monet's power ceiling before Episode 613, where Zoro's devastating one-sword style takes center stage. The Straw Hats are fully entrenched in Punk Hazard's chaos at this point, and this fight marks a pivotal turning point in how they dismantle the island's threats.
