I still have chills from seeing Monet try to reform her body but she was just too scared to move after Zoro sliced her like that without even using any haki

The animation during the sword clashes felt way more fluid than usual, especially when Monet was flying around trying to dodge Zoro's pressure

The visuals for that one sword style attack were so smooth and seeing Zoro dominate a logia user like that makes the time skip training feel like it actually paid off

It is weird that Zoro still has this thing about not wanting to cut women even when they are literally trying to kill his friends in a frozen lab

Monet's inability to even reform her body after Zoro just looked at her had me actually leaning forward. She literally couldn't function from pure dread, and it reminded me just how insane his growth under Mihawk must have been. That man’s presence alone is a weapon now.

I was actually worried for a second that Zoro wouldn't step in, but the way he absolutely paralyzed Monet with that one sword style strike was incredible. He didn't even have to kill her because his killing intent alone was enough to make her logia body stop working properly and it just shows how much he has grown since the timeskip

When that red flash flickered in his eye right before he sliced, I genuinely gasped. It made me wonder if he's not just using Conqueror's Haki, but finally unleashing a primal power that's been bubbling under the surface this whole time.

Tashigi jumping in to finish things after Zoro already did the heavy lifting was such a weird moment but you can tell there is something complicated going on between those two still

It was actually cool that they reanimated those old Loguetown scenes because it looks so much better than the original footage and it really highlights how long Zoro and Tashigi have been doing this

Watching the snow girl literally fall apart because she was too scared to move her own body

I still can't believe Zoro literally split Monet in half without even using Haki and the look on her face when she realized she couldn't move was actually terrifying

Monet actually trying to reassemble herself after that massive vertical slice was so unnerving, I honestly didn't expect her to even be capable of moving. Her shaking body really showed me how much that attack messed with her, despite her seemingly calm villain facade.

You can tell Tashigi was getting annoyed at Zoro for holding back and it makes their whole dynamic feel so much like his old rivalry with Kuina

I felt so hyped when Tashigi stepped up to finish the job because she knew Zoro was too stubborn to actually use armament on a woman

Seeing Monet get sliced like that was way more brutal than anything else in this arc so far and the way they animated the snow and blood made the whole thing feel so heavy

Zoro clearly had the chance to end her right there, but his weird code about not cutting women kept him from using a finishing blow and it was frustrating to watch him hold back

I thought Zoro stepping in to save Tashigi was great but her getting the final blow felt like a pity win since he already won the fight with just a look

The sheer pressure Zoro put out to cut Monet without even using haki is a massive step up from his older fights and seeing her realize he could have killed her felt so heavy

That line about the wild animal biting was so cold and you could see the exact second Monet lost her mind when Zoro started walking toward her

Monet thinking she was safe because she is a woman and then getting sliced in half by the sheer aura of Zoro is one of the most satisfying moments on punk hazard

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming directly off Episode 612's encounter with the Snow Woman, the crew's conflicts are escalating and splitting into individual battles — a classic One Piece structure signaling the arc is heating up. This episode isolates Zoro's thread, giving his confrontation room to breathe before the narrative widens back to the full crew. It functions as both a character reinforcement beat for Zoro and a momentum-builder toward the larger challenges ahead in the arc.
