I never thought that random old man from the village would be so important and seeing Zoro connect those dots with Enma was incredible

It is crazy how King is taking all these hits and not even flinching while Zoro is basically dying from his own sword and it makes the Lunarian stuff sound even more terrifying to me

Sanji looking so scared about his body changing into whatever the Germa science made him is a heavy contrast to the cool sword fighting going on elsewhere and it feels really personal

The reveal that the random old guy from Zoro's village was actually a legendary Wano blacksmith is such a cool way to tie his whole life together and it explains so much

Sanji being so scared of turning into a cold monster like his brothers is a lot to handle, especially while Queen is laughing and making fun of him the whole time

You have to feel for X Drake having to team up with Apoo just to stay alive against those CP0 guys and seeing the Allosaurus form again was the only highlight of that floor

The animation when Zoro unleashed all that Haki at the end looked incredible and the way he finally understood the personality of his swords changed the whole fight

Zoro finally deciding to stop fighting his own sword and just letting the Haki go crazy was such a powerful ending for the episode
inumaki_inkling's avatar

I am honestly stressed out for Zoro right now because it feels like his own sword is trying to kill him more than King is and the way his Haki just keeps getting sucked out of his arm looks so painful and it was definitely a huge moment when he realized the old man from his village was the one who made the blade and forged his destiny

Some of those shots of the fire demon and the magma felt like they went on for way too long and slowed down the momentum of the big fights even if the animation was decent

I got chills when Zoro finally stopped fighting Enma and just let the Haki flow because that King of Hell line was the coolest thing he has ever said during this whole raid

That moment where the shamisen music triggered the memory of the old blacksmith was handled perfectly, and it makes Zoro's journey back to his roots feel very earned

Zoro and Enma finally clicking was huge and those flashbacks to the old man in the village really brought everything full circle

I was wondering why Enma was acting so weirdly and then the flashback to the old man in the village really brought everything home for me because it shows how long Zoro has been connected to Wano without even knowing it and that ending where he finally stops fighting the blade and just lets the Haki flow was genuinely terrifying

Queen talking about the Lunarian race being gods who lived on the Red Line is the kind of massive lore drop that makes the world feel so much bigger and more ancient

It really hit me when Momonosuke was crying while looking at the festival lights because he knows if he fails then everyone in the flower capital is going to die

Sanji's absolutely losing it watching his body basically turn into a weapon, and honestly, it made me so stressed out for him – like, how's he gonna cope with these Germa changes long-term? Queen just keeps going on and on about the science, completely oblivious to Sanji's inner turmoil, which just made me want him to shut his mouth already.

Enma sucking the life out of Zoro, backed by that eerie shamisen, totally had my stomach in knots. I can't even fathom the mental toughness it takes to keep going when your own sword is draining you, but my man is truly built different, always pushing past his limits for that dream.

The way they keep cutting back to Orochi crying over the shamisen music is starting to get annoying, especially when the King and Zoro fight is finally starting to get good

Watching Apoo get absolutely destroyed by CP0 was hilarious, but then seeing Drake jump in to help him for a quick alliance felt like a smart move to survive

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting deep in the Onigashima raid, this episode narrows focus from the sprawling battlefield to Zoro's one-on-one confrontation with King, one of Kaido's most dangerous commanders. Episode 1058 escalated the chaos across multiple fronts, and this installment channels that energy into a singular, character-defining fight. It directly sets up the next episode's deeper revelations about Zoro's swords and abilities, making it a critical bridge in his personal arc within the raid.
