King stretching his face back for that attack was actually hilarious and I love how weird this show gets even in serious fights

Every beast pirate dropping unconscious the second zoro stood up was such a massive moment and he looks like he can actually control enma now

The connection between that grumpy fisherman from zoros childhood and the guy who forged enma is so cool and i love how it all clicked for him today

It was heartbreaking to see Kuina cry about her strength again, but Zoro yelling at her to keep their promise was the perfect emotional anchor for this fight.

A huge chill went down my spine when Zoro let the sword drain him because the way it knocked out those pirates was terrifying

Those random beast pirates falling over as soon as Zoro walked back onto the roof really showed how much his willpower has grown

The green aura on the swords at the end looked so cool and it really feels like Zoro is finally ready to take King down for good

King asking if Zoro has ambitions to be a king right before the Haki unleashed was such a cold way to start that final transformation

Zoro falling off the island and having to scramble for his swords while King shot at him was so stressful and the animation looked beautiful

When that old village footage popped up, my eyes kinda welled up, 'cause that promise Zoro made to Kuina just always gets me. It’s wild how that vow still feels so deeply rooted in him, making every single one of his intense sword fights feel so much heavier for me, like he's still fighting for that dream.

Everything clicked into place once Zoro remembered the word Sunacchi and realized the old man fishing at the coast was a Shimotsuki legend

I have been waiting for this reveal and seeing Kozaburo in the village again really connected everything together for me. It makes so much sense that the grumpy old man who gave Zoro his practice swords was actually the legendary smith who forged Enma. The way the Haki finally turned green when he stopped fighting the sword was a huge sight to see.

watching zoro cry when he got the wado ichimonji from koshiro really reminded me how much he has been carrying on his back since he was just a kid

The animation for the Kuina fight looked so much better than the original and it really made their promise feel more grounded and important for what Zoro is doing now

momonosuke whispering sunacchi to himself to get through the fear of the height and the flames was such a small but sweet detail for his character development

the flashbacks took up a lot of time, but seeing kuina again and that promise they made really anchored why zoro is pushing himself so hard against king

it was so interesting to see the connection between the old man in the village and the swordsmith who made enma because it tied zoros origins back to wano naturally, the animation when he finally unleashed his conquerors haki on the rooftop was stunning and he feels ready to handle king for real now

Zoro, going from that intense flashback with Kuina straight to him standing tall on Onigashima, bathed in that awesome purple and green aura, really blew my mind. I was just thinking about how far he's pushed himself since those early days, always striving to get stronger for Luffy and his own dream, and now look at him.

I am actually losing it because that random old man from the village made Enma and Wado and it makes so much sense now

enma trying to suck zoro dry of his haki mid fight is a crazy handicap but him realizing the sword is just testing his worth was a really cool moment

EPISODE CONTEXT

This episode directly continues Zoro's desperate clash with King from Episode 1059, deepening the stakes by tying his battlefield struggle to unresolved threads from his history. It serves as the emotional and narrative core of Zoro's Wano endgame before Episode 1061 pivots to Sanji's parallel fight against Queen, maintaining the arc's pattern of spotlighting each Straw Hat's defining moment in the raid.
