Taiyo Asano stumbles, utterly drained, the morning after intense training. Mutsumi Yozakura offers him a potent energy drink from her older brother, Kyoichiro, a quick fix that proves far too effective. His eyes glow, cherry blossom patterns bloom in his pupils, and beams of energy shoot forth, uncontrollable and alarming. He slams his head into a telephone pole, cracking the steel, a graphic demonstration of power without precision.

At school, Sosuke Michibata walks through crowded hallways, a ghost among the living. A cold voice shatters Sosuke Michibata's fantasy: "Stop fantasizing about someone else's wife," says Taiyo Asano, who stands over him. Taiyo has tracked him down on Kyoichiro's orders, sternly telling Sosuke to stop misusing his spy skills. Sosuke, momentarily terrified, boasts about his "Kagero" technique, claiming it makes him invincible. He launches into a bitter monologue about "winners" and "losers," convinced Taiyo cannot understand his struggle.

Sosuke Michibata vanishes in a blur of motion, confident his "Kagero" technique will keep him hidden from Taiyo Asano. A brief explanation clarifies his ability: he suppresses his heartbeat and breathing, becoming almost undetectable. Her exasperation grows until she loses her temper, declaring she will just wear her own clothes, ending the show in chaos.

At the bustling "Electronic District," Kenchi waits for Shion Yozakura. She arrives in simple shorts, a purple shirt, and a cap, a seemingly normal outfit that cleverly incorporates tracking and hacking devices. Kenchi is genuinely delighted, praising her look and putting Shion at ease. As they walk through the market, engaging in tech talk, Taiyo Asano and Sosuke Michibata discreetly observe, ensuring her safety. The episode ends with Shion smiling, comfortable in her own skin and style.
