Edward and Alphonse Elric, along with Lin, scream in panic as the miniature Gluttonys multiply. They are left surrounded by a horde of posing, pint-sized monsters.

The Bradley family eats dinner, a picture of domestic tranquility. Selim reads his praised school report to King Bradley and Mrs. Bradley. When the train arrives, its interior is not filled with commuters, but with the terrifying, shadowy souls that make up Envy's true form. The train departs, leaving Bradley stranded and late for work. Later, in his office, he complains bitterly about the need for a private car to avoid such 'supernatural transit issues,' breaking his pen in frustration.
