We are introduced to Revolte, a hulking demon with multiple arms, accompanied by his disciple Lügner. Revolte has a 'bad feeling' about directly engaging the skilled mages, opting instead to wait for them to disperse. He chillingly reveals his strategy: he killed many innocent people precisely to provoke a response, to study human irrationality. He finds humans' unpredictable, instinct-driven actions 'interesting', a macabre intellectual pursuit for him.

As Frieren's party prepares to hunt the demons, Genna declares he will stay behind to await the Norm Knight Order and protect the fallen. He explains that 'humans tend to stay and protect bodies,' a sentiment that surprises Stark. Genna admits he's no 'good person,' having killed and abandoned many for the sake of peace in the North. Genna then steps forward, calmly introducing himself as a 'Slayer,' a demon hunter. He engages Revolte with breathtaking speed and precision, his movements almost supernatural. Genna's calculated strikes quickly subdue the Demon General, delivering a decisive kick that leaves Revolte defeated. As the Norm Knight Order arrives, Genna departs, leaving a cryptic remark about the 'contradiction' of Revolte's magic, hinting at a profound, unfulfilled curiosity.
