Ulquiorra actually getting angry when Ichigo called him human was so strange to see since he is usually just an emotionless wall

Chad bringing out the Brazo Izquierda del Diablo to smash that massive hollow was definitely the highlight of his and Renji's part

jumping between the battles every five minutes was kind of annoying since the Ichigo and Ulquiorra fight is what everyone actually cares about

I have been waiting forever to get back to this fight and seeing Ichigo actually able to keep up with Ulquiorra's speed is huge. That moment where he wounds him and says he’s becoming more human really got under Ulquiorra’s skin, which is weird to see from a guy who never shows any emotion at all during his battles.

the wait for the canon story to resume is over and watching Ichigo clash with Ulquiorra again is so exciting

I was so stressed when that blast almost hit Ichigo but Orihime blocked it just in time and saved him

Finally back on that Las Noches roof, I couldn't believe how intense Ichigo and Ulquiorra's staring contest was before they even threw a punch. It really felt like they were trying to dissect each other's souls with just their words, making me wonder if Ulquiorra was just trying to mess with Ichigo's head or truly understood him.

I seriously can't believe how much Ichigo has grown; watching him actually keep pace with Ulquiorra and even land that insane blow just left me floored. It makes me wonder what his real limits even are if he's evolved this much, this fast.

When that massive sand Hollow just kept coming, I wasn't sure how Chad and Renji would even scratch it; but watching them seamlessly combine their power, exploiting its weakness with such a dramatic, coordinated strike, truly showed me how much their growth and mutual trust have intensified, and I got chills seeing their combined strength obliterate it completely. Their bond is seriously formidable.

Orihime's sudden shield for Ichigo genuinely stunned me; I mean, he was completely open and everyone else was too caught up in their own fights to even notice how close he was to being taken out. It really makes me appreciate her quiet strength, always there to pick him up when he's on the brink, almost like it's a constant, unspoken thing between them.

I seriously didn't think Ichigo would manage to land a hit on Ulquiorra, so when he actually did, I was so surprised! It makes me wonder if this means he's finally strong enough to really turn the tide, or if it's just a temporary setback for Ulquiorra.

When Ichigo dared to suggest Ulquiorra was becoming human, my jaw dropped at how intensely Ulquiorra reacted; it was this raw, almost desperate fury I'd never seen from him before. For me, that moment transformed their entire confrontation from just another fight into this incredibly personal, almost philosophical clash about what it truly means to exist as either a human or a hollow.

Even though Chad and Renji finally teamed up to figure out that enormous hollow's weakness in the desert, I was almost vibrating with anticipation to get back to the sheer weight of Ichigo and Ulquiorra's brewing confrontation on the roof. Seeing those two fight together again, though, it really made me reflect on their whole journey since the Soul Society arc and how much they've pushed each other to get this far.

Orihime just throwing herself in front of that attack for Ichigo genuinely caught me off guard; I really thought she was going to get annihilated, but it just proved how fiercely devoted she is to him, showing she's absolutely more than just some damsel on the sidelines.

I gotta say, seeing Ichigo finally land that blow on Ulquiorra felt incredibly earned after all they've been through, and when Ichigo told him he was acting human, I felt like Ulquiorra was genuinely rattled, like that observation cut deep because it was true.

When Orihime finally moved to block that attack, the sheer, unwavering resolve in her eyes felt like a turning point, and I couldn't help but realize she wasn't just *reacting* anymore – she was actively choosing to defy fate right then and there. It gave me goosebumps to see her embrace her power so completely.

Ulquiorra is moving so incredibly fast, I could barely even track him, and it's making me nervous seeing Ichigo struggling to keep up with his attacks. It really makes you wonder if Ichigo can even pull off a win here, especially after all the intense training he's been through to face these Arrancars.

I seriously felt a chill when Ulquiorra just materialized behind Ichigo; it's so wild how even with all that intense training, Ichigo still can't keep up, making me wonder if he'll ever truly bridge that gap.

I couldn't believe Ulquiorra had the nerve to tell Ichigo that Orihime belonged to the hollows, like, wow, talk about a dramatic psychological blow right to the gut. His absolute confidence in that declaration, knowing it would crush Ichigo, made him seem even more terrifying and solidified for me just how truly unfeeling he was.

I actually felt a flicker of hope when Ichigo finally landed a blow on Ulquiorra, but it's clear to me now that the Espada's just been toying with him this whole time, holding back an incredible amount of power that's probably way beyond what we've seen from other Arrancars.

EPISODE CONTEXT
