Imari being back in the thick of this mess makes the whole thing feel way more tense and I love how they are tying the occult stuff into a detective story

imari having to confront her past through these new murders is intense and that ending scene left the audience wanting more answers

watching the detective team struggle with the spear of longinus mystery while more bodies pile up gives the show a very bleak atmosphere

the pacing in this one really picked up and seeing the cult finally step out from the shadows makes the whole investigation feel much more dangerous

i was really hoping imari would get some peace after the first series, but seeing her dragged back into this occult madness is just brutal. the whole mystery with the spear of longinus feels like it is building toward something massive and those charred bodies are genuinely terrifying to look at. i need to know how the cult is pulling this off.

that specific visual of the men being totally burned except for their genitals is a bizarre and haunting image for a horror mystery

tokken feels so out of their depth against this supernatural stuff and the sheer brutality of the rejection scenes was enough to make anyone wince

the way the cult is using the spear of longinus lore is actually pretty creepy and seeing tokken try to piece it together keeps the tension high

the connection to imari's past makes the stakes feel way more personal, and looking at those burned remains was a lot for one episode.

i did not think they would go that dark with the murder scenes and seeing the ritual aspects start to click is making me nervous for imari

my skin was crawling when they showed those carbonized bodies and I feel for imari having to deal with this cult crap all over again

Imari being back in the middle of all this chaos is the best part of the episode and she still looks great

The visuals during the cult ritual were really dark and moody and it totally fit the whole Bible Black mood

My main issue is that the pacing felt a bit slow and I just wanted more of Imari doing detective work instead of the cult talking

The lore about the Spear of Longinus felt pretty grounded and I liked how it tied back to the earlier deaths

You can really feel the tension when the ritual breaks and everyone starts turning on each other and the power struggle is visible in every room

The ritual of the vulgar was pure chaos and it really shows how far these people will go to bring their devil partner into the world

Seeing Yamanishi mentioned again brings back all the bad vibes from the first series and Kitami is clearly finishing what was started years ago

Watching Ichikawa get used like a puppet was brutal and the way they talk about punishing traitors makes the school feel like a death trap

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off 'Recollection,' which brought buried histories and past traumas back into focus, 'Rejection' pushes the consequences of those revelations to a critical breaking point. As the fifth of six episodes, this is the series' final escalation before the climax — the structural turning point where lingering threads are pulled taut. Everything here is oriented toward setting up 'Reproduction,' the concluding episode, where the central conflict and character arcs are expected to reach full resolution.
