the art teacher deserved better than being used as a toy for those brainwashed students just because Katami felt like it

It felt so intense when Manas finally woke up and saw Katami for what she really is, even though the pacing was slow with all the sex scenes dragging things out, and my thoughts were all over the place seeing how much power the cult has and how easily they can just take over someone like the art teacher without any hesitation

the way Takashi poured her heart out to Manas while he was barely conscious was so sad and messed up

I really felt for the art teacher getting dragged off like that because Katami is actually terrifying when she gets suspicious

Manas finally realizing Katami is evil right before it cuts to black was such a huge moment after seeing him as a puppet the whole time

I think the occult horror elements are carrying this episode and seeing the spear mentioned finally brings the scale of the threat into focus

The detective aspect keeps the tension high and those bizarre crime scenes are way more creative than usual

That cult group is giving off the worst vibes and the way they leave the women untouched is so unsettling

It is wild how this series manages to be so much more than just the adult scenes because the mystery with the Spear of Longinus is actually gripping. Seeing Imari deal with the trauma of Walpurgis Night while hunting this new cult adds a lot of weight to the investigation. The visuals for the carbonized remains were genuinely disturbing to see.

I found the connection to the original Walpurgis Night really compelling because it links Imari to these new horrors so effectively

The ritualistic aspect of these kills is genuinely terrifying and it makes the detective work feel so much more desperate

My skin crawled when they showed those carbonized bodies and the spear of longinus lore is getting dark fast

Imari being back on the case feels so right and that cult is definitely hiding something huge behind those murders

Watching the Tokken team piece together the Spear of Longinus clues is actually interesting, but the way those men died was gruesome.

the connection to the old incidents makes the stakes feel higher and watching tokken try to piece together the spear of longinus clues makes the investigation feel much more urgent

I really wanted more answers about the carbonized bodies but the pacing feels slow and it spends too much time on the cult rituals instead of the investigation

those burned bodies are actually terrifying and it makes the cult seem way more powerful than just some random group of weirdos

you can tell the detective stuff is taking over now and the spear of longinus mystery adds a weird layer to the murders that makes the occult stuff feel more dangerous

seeing imari back on the case feels right since she knows how messed up this cult actually is and the creepy vibe from the original is still there

EPISODE CONTEXT

Sitting at the midpoint of a six-episode series, "Rule" builds directly on the occult-murder connections surfaced in the preceding episode "Reunion," pushing the investigation deeper into dangerous and enigmatic territory. At episode three, the series has established its world and now tightens its grip, adding layers to the mystery without yet releasing the tension. It sets the stage for "Recollection," which promises to pull the story's focus toward character backstories and the origins of the supernatural threat.
