This episode reveals more about the Promised Children and the truth behind them is quite disturbing. Seven episodes in, and there is still no proper explanation of the effect of Raishin's magic command or whatever buff it grants to Yaya. It's rather annoying that the anime requires viewers to do outside research to understand details that should have been explained within the story itself. What's even more confusing is that the supplementary lesson that Raishin attended in Ep 5 which clearly explained the rules of the Evening Party seems to directly contradict Raishin's actions in this episode. As a result, the whole situation feels inconsistent. It's almost as if the studio expects viewers to simply go along with it without providing a proper explanation.

The battle taking place sure was a confusing one. The sequence of events unfolding before our eyes was interesting to say the least. However, the animation with Frey, and Rabbi was peak. The way the blood leaked from Frey's body was intense, and looked badass, it reminded me of when Naruto didn't have control over the Nine Tailed Fox's chakra. Raishin truly is built like a shounen character, he's tanking hits that'd kill an ox!
