I was worried about how sick Koichi was looking but Caius being smart and lying to those beastmen was such a good move

Watching the censored version is basically pointless, because you lose half the runtime and the story barely moves forward at all

Those beastmen Beri and Baro look like trouble and they are definitely going to try and scam Caius for that fruit

I feel like the episode was over before it even started because three minutes is just not enough time to get anything done in this story

Watching Caius act all tough and lie about the elf just to protect his bride was a really cool way to show he actually cares about Koichi more than his own pride

The show is way too short for how much is going on and cutting half the episode for the broadcast version makes the whole plot feel rushed and confusing for no reason

Koichi being left all alone at the end of the episode is so stressful and it makes you worry about what those beastmen are actually planning while Caius is away

Seeing those beastmen Beri and Baro show up was interesting but they definitely give off bad vibes and the trade for that Raisa fruit felt like a trap waiting to happen for poor Koichi

The difference between versions is huge, and you miss so much of the actual relationship dynamic if you only watch the shorter cut of the full moon scenes

I feel so bad for Koichi and the way his body is reacting to that fruit power is getting hard to watch, but at least Caius is doing whatever it takes to find a cure. Those new beastmen characters seem like trouble though, and I did not like the way they were looking at the guys during that trade deal in the forest

I think Caius was smart for telling those beastmen the fruit was for a rich elf because those traders looked like they would have taken advantage of him if they knew Koichi was in trouble

My heart sank when Koichi looked so sick during those night scenes and Caius trying to hide the truth from the tiger guy felt like he was really trying to keep him safe

The censored version of this episode is such a joke because it cuts out almost everything and you basically get two minutes of nothing before the cliffhanger at the end

You can tell the tiger and wolf beastmen are totally shady and they were clearly trying to scam Caius for that fruit even while Koichi is literally dying in the background

The intimacy scenes during the full moon were the only thing that actually happened this week and the rest felt like a skip

My heart sank when I saw how sick Koichi is getting from the moon and Caius looked so desperate to find that fruit

Caius lying about the fruit being for some rich elf was actually pretty smart because those tiger and wolf guys look like they would rob him blind

The story barely moved forward this week, but at least the tiger guy looks cool even if he is definitely going to be a problem later

The episode was way too short and by the time Caius met those sketchy beastmen the credits were already rolling

I felt so bad for Koichi when he started coughing up blood and the moon power looks like it is really wrecking his human body

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 5's deeper dive into Beastmen territory, this episode continues Caius and Kouichi's mission centered on the Raisa fruit, widening the world by introducing new characters who complicate their path. Sitting at Episode 6 of 9, the series is in its final stretch, and 'Trading Style' functions as a connective bridge — building situational stakes that feed directly into the more dramatically charged Episode 7, 'The Night of Disaster.'
