Episode Context

Episode 6 continues the early-season pattern of expanding Kusuo's unwanted social circle, after Kokomi Teruhashi's introduction in Episode 5, the spotlight shifts to the male classmate dynamic with the debut of hot-blooded Hairo Kineshi. This installment is the first half of a two-parter, setting up the dodgeball match's conclusion in Episode 7. Still firmly in the show's character-introduction phase, it reinforces the core comedic formula that will carry across all 120 episodes: Saiki just wants to be left alone, and the universe absolutely refuses.
