This opening sets a tense, almost horror-like tone, a stark contrast to the episode's eventual direction.

Duu enters, tiny and enthusiastic, showcasing a small lizard she has befriended. The Demon King, her father, expresses exasperation, realizing this is yet another creature Duu has taken under her wing, even sleeping with it. He sighs, noting her tendency to attach herself to all living things, a trait both endearing and problematic for a demon's daughter. Jah-hee, the loyal attendant, appears, suggesting a solution to Duu's unguarded nature.

Jah-hee proposes that Duu make a contract with a magical beast for protection, a logical demon solution to Duu's innocent wandering. The Demon King agrees, praising Jah-hee for her foresight. However, a sudden realization dawns on the Demon King: he had already given Duu a 'protective' staff.

The 'protective' staff is then shown being used by Duu to pick a cell lock, revealing Palika, a succubus, inside. Palika attempts to 'seduce' Duu, applying lipstick to her face, much to Jah-hee's horror. Palika proudly defends her 'seduction' as effective, even as Jah-hee drags a delighted Duu away, deeming Palika hopeless.

Jah-hee leads Duu to a cliff edge, explaining the methods of forming a contract with a magical beast, either by blood or magic. Duu innocently asks if her pet lizard, still perched on her head, counts as magical, which Jah-hee quickly dismisses. Just as Jah-hee insists they find a *true* magical beast, a massive red dragon, Salamandra, crashes before them.

Despite Jah-hee's warnings, Duu fearlessly approaches the colossal dragon, recognizing it from her father's stories. Salamandra asks for help, and Duu responds not with magic or force, but with gentle pats and comforting words. Jah-hee watches in disbelief as Duu's simple kindness calms the glowing beast.

Dark, gooey figures, the Servants of the Ancient Demon Lord, emerge, attempting to recapture the chained Salamandra. Jah-hee unsheathes her sword, ready for battle, but Duu intervenes. With a simple raise of her hands, Duu causes the dark figures to melt into glowing, happy slimes, much to Jah-hee's astonishment.

Jah-hee offers her life to Salamandra in apology for past events, but Salamandra reveals the lizard on Duu's head is her child, explaining her previous distress. Duu then offers Salamandra a place in their family if she cannot be a familiar, a proposal joyfully accepted. The Demon King celebrates Duu's achievement with a 'Potato Party,' while Jah-hee's exasperation grows.

The Demon King and Jah-hee discuss a captured Prisoner, impervious to conventional torture. Jah-hee is seeking an alternative. Palika bursts forth, proposing her 'lipstick makeover strategy' to extract information. She applies lipstick to Jah-hee, then excitedly attempts to teach Duu her 'seductive' techniques for interrogation.

Duu, eager to try, approaches the Prisoner and, with childlike glee, begins to tickle him. The Prisoner bursts into uncontrollable laughter, tears streaming down his face. Jah-hee laments this as mere 'tickle torture,' clearly frustrated that Duu's innocence has once again disrupted demonic protocol.

Palika tries her own 'seductive' approach on the Prisoner, leaning in and whispering. However, her attempts unexpectedly end with her punching him, causing him pain. She then looks into a mirror, saddened, realizing her youthful appearance makes her attempts at allure ineffective. Jah-hee's blunt assessment of Palika's 'childish' body adds to her despair.

Duu comforts a tearful Palika, assuring her that she succeeded simply by trying her best. The two then decide to 'play together,' which quickly devolves into drawing on castle walls and applying lipstick to Jah-hee and even the Demon King. The episode concludes with all four, including a resigned Jah-hee, running through a field in silly masks, laughing, having transformed the castle into a playground.
