I was really disappointed about what they did in this episode. The final fight was so disconnected and unnatural that I didn't find it the least bit entertaining at all. The premise was so forced and the scale of destruction the enemy did was so unnatural that it didn't even alarm anybody near. Even the purpose of him meeting Art doesn't make sense.

And so, we've finally reached the end of Season 2. It was an okay ending, but nothing too special. I wish they had done a better job with the animation and execution, especially since the source material seems good. Will I watch the next season if there is one? Probably not. I still liked the characters though.

Finally, that reunion took so long T^T but I didn't expect season 2 to take up only this part of the story. Pacing issues really

The action scene felt a bit draggy but after that, the suspense build-up was well done. And I still feel weird with how Arthur's internal thoughts are done, like it feels so awkward sometimes

Pretty decent wrap up for this arc. I just hate how inconsistent things are, like some episodes are just so weird then some like this is fine

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off Episode 11's intimate birthday celebration for Eleanor, Episode 12 snaps the tone back to the harder edges that defined earlier arcs, specifically the unresolved fallout from the dungeon raid that has shadowed Arthur's journey. As the final episode of Season 2, it serves double duty: delivering a confrontation that caps this season's central conflicts while positioning Arthur's enrollment at Xyrus Academy as the threshold into whatever comes next.
