Secrets of the Silent Witch Episode 6: A Cup out of Place

As I had said in my review on the previous episode, it seemed that this anime will take the plot into a more slice-of-life route. Not that it's bad, but I do understand if some people dislike this because of what it has shown us in the beginning. But even so, I do like the author kept Monica slowly developing, even with this plot change, it was really palpable during the tea scene, which was nice seeing her finally out with the word 'friend'. This episode is enjoyable, calm and very laid back.

This episode felt fairly empty in the sense that many things happened but none of it felt like it was adding to the plot. I'm curious for the tea fiasco but that will be solved. The dancing ordeal was pretty funny though!

This episode starts with normal daily noble school life and smoothly introduces a new face. Personally, the pace feels a bit too slow, and I'd say it's a skippable episode since nothing major happens.

This felt like a slice-of-life episode of Monica's student life in Serendia Academy, watching this episode was both entertaining and relaxing. The episode also reveals Monica's father's face for the first time and introduces another quirky female character who is a devoted fan of the Silent Witch. Watching Monica's reaction as she listened to the girl's enthusiastic praise for the Silent Witch had me rolling on the floor laughing.

P.S. Monica barely stutters in this episode, except when she panics or gets caught off guard. This is largely thanks to Colette, Casey, and several members of the student council, whose interactions with her have helped her become more confident.
