You can tell they put so much work into the details of the water and how the girls look in the island setting

I felt that the animation budget clearly went into that specific beach sequence because some of the other scenes looked a bit rough to me

Nao and Mitsugu trying to one up each other while everyone is just trying to enjoy the sun was the best part of the whole chapter

I actually think it makes sense that Nao and Mitsugu keep escalating their competition over Daisuke if you look back at how they behaved in the first two chapters, and their motivations felt way more grounded this time around because the narrative shifts during those resort scenes really helped bridge the gap between the casual fanservice and the actual plot progression.

Pink Pineapple animation really stood out during the beach shots and those character designs look so much better than the earlier episodes

The tropical setting makes all the character interactions feel way more intense and that ending sequence with Maya was the perfect way to wrap up the island stay

Momona is basically a walking disaster and her clumsiness leads to the best moments especially with how Daisuke reacts when she falls on him

Mika showing up out of nowhere was such a surprise and those specific close up shots during her scene were genuinely some of the best art in the series

I really didnt expect the production quality to stay this high for the third episode, but the way they handled Mitsugu and Nao finally getting some real focus together was interesting because the art style for the character designs is so much better than most stuff in this genre and seeing Daisuke navigate all that chaos on the beach felt pretty fun

I stayed for Kanae and her interaction with Daisuke this time around was the highlight for me because the lighting and art style felt so much more polished

Daisuke has zero chill when it comes to his cousins friend and that pool scene was definitely the best part of the whole southern island arc so far

I really felt for Daisuke when Nao and Mitsugu started fighting over him but the way things ended up with Mika caught me off guard and the art was super clean

Watching Momona trip into Daisuke like that was classic, but the detail in the following scene actually looked better than the first two episodes combined

The animation on the beach scenes really stepped up for this third chapter and Daisuke is living the dream with how Maya and Momona keep getting into those situations

Maya is way too cute and that scene in the room was exactly what i wanted to see after waiting for this part of the island story

The setting is so nice to look at and it really makes the whole island vacation feel more immersive when things start getting intense between them

Mika and Kanae really came out of nowhere but they might be my new favorites after how they handled themselves in this one

Daisuke has way too much luck with all these girls and that scene with his cousin Maya in the water was really something else

I think Momona is easily the best girl and seeing her clumsy moments turn into something more was definitely the highlight for me

Daisuke having to deal with his cousin Maya and her friend at the same time was a huge highlight and the pacing in that specific segment was perfect

EPISODE CONTEXT

This is the concluding episode of a compact three-part OVA, meaning it carries the weight of wrapping up the resort fantasy without the benefit of extended storytelling. The first two episodes established the setting and characters, and this finale represents the culmination of those threads. There is no follow-up episode — this is the series' endpoint, so viewers can expect it to function as both a climax and a closing statement for the Resort Boin experience.
