I think Momona is way too cute for her own good and that scene in the room was exactly what I wanted from this sequel

I expected more focus on the grandmothers resort, but the focus on the girls at the beach was way more entertaining than the first episode

Mitsugu handles herself so much better than the other girls and her solo scene was the clear winner of the episode

I stayed for the character designs but the scene with Momona and Maya together really caught me off guard because of how well they animated everything, plus the background music really set the mood better than most of these old shows. It feels like they put more effort into the sequel than the first one and Daisuke is actually a decent lead.

That moment with Maya at the beach felt a bit rushed compared to the first episode and the dialogue was kind of cheesy even for this kind of show

You can really tell the art quality stayed high for the second part and seeing Nao and Mitsugu compete like that was hilarious

Watching Nao and Mitsugu try to outdo each other was hilarious, and the resort background makes every encounter feel like a genuine summer vacation

Mitsugu is definitely my favorite girl so far because she has that rich girl energy that makes her interactions with Daisuke feel different from the others

That scene in the water with the girls was pretty great because the art style really captures the summer heat and the characters look so good

The beach setting makes everything look so much brighter and the sequence with Kanae and Mika was a total highlight for the visuals

The rivalry between Nao and Mitsugu carries this episode and seeing them both go for Daisuke at once was such a fun time

Daisuke is living every guys dream in this episode and seeing Mitsugu use her wealth to get his attention was actually pretty funny even if it just led to more of the usual stuff and the way they handled the group dynamic at the resort made the whole island setting feel alive and not just like a background for the scenes

Maya being his cousin adds that weird layer that you expect from these stories and she definitely stole the show during the beach segment

I really liked the scene with Maya and Momona because the island vibes made everything feel way more laid back than the first episode

Momona being clumsy is a classic trope but it worked well when she got tangled up with Daisuke near the water

The energy Nao brings to her scenes makes the pacing feel fast which I appreciate when things start getting crowded for me

Tanning oil scenes with Mitsugu worked well because the character models are consistently great and the beach aesthetic fits the tone

That scene where Momona tripped into Daisuke was classic and I love how it kicked off the whole encounter for them. The island atmosphere really adds something to the visuals and makes the character designs pop more than a standard school setting. I think Mitsugu is definitely winning the best girl competition after her showing in this specific chapter.

My takeaway from the Maya scene was that the tension built up perfectly and the beach setting made the animation look good

Competition between Nao and Mitsugu for attention was great and that pool scene really delivered on the character designs

EPISODE CONTEXT

Following the introductory first episode, which established Daisuke's arrival at the tropical resort and introduced the female cast, this chapter deepens those individual connections and expands on the harem dynamic at the story's core. As the second of three episodes, it serves as the emotional and relational bridge of the series. What unfolds here directly feeds into the finale, 'Shameless Tale of Southern Island Chapter,' where those built-up dynamics are expected to reach their conclusion.
